In this dynamic performance, taped live at Teatro del Silenzio, Italian tenor sings to a special audience in his hometown of Lajatico, a rural village in Tuscany.

Joined by such contemporary music luminaries as saxophonist Kenny G, and trumpeter Chris Botti as well as piano virtuoso Lang Lang, Italian pop star Eliza, and legendary musician, songwriter, and producer David Foster, the award-winning opera singer performs his most revered hits along with several new songs.

Today, Andrea Bocelli continues to reveal why he is destined to join the ranks of such great opera stars as Caruso, Pavarotti and Domingo. The contemporary opera superstar has captured the hearts of legions of fans around the world with his romantic tenor voice and continues to be one of its best-selling recording artists.

Born September 22, 1958 in Lajatico, a village in the province of Pisa, Italy, Andrea Bocelli began studying the piano at age 6. He graduated with a law degree from the University of Pisa and made his operatic debut in Macbeth. Simultaneous careers in the world of pop and opera afford Bocelli the best of both musical worlds. Today his voice can be heard in concert and on hundreds of award-winning recordings and videos.

Duets with Instrumentalists Kenny G, Chris Botti and Lang Lang

In this outdoor theatre, an enamored audience is treated to performances by some of today’s most sought after artists. Bocelli sings “A Te” a duet with saxophonist Kenny G; a new selection titled “Io Ci Sarò” performed with the dynamic classical piano virtuoso, Lang Lang; and a stunning rendition of “Italia” performed with trumpeter Chris Botti.

The stunning ambience of the Italian countryside adds yet another dimension to the brilliance of their performances.

Special Guest David Foster accompanies Andrea Bocelli

Legendary artist David Foster accompanies Bocelli on his classic hit Olympiad theme “Because We Believe.” They continue to enamor the audience with a romantic medley of “Bésame Mucho”“Somos Novios” and “Can’t Help Falling in Love” which also featured Ludovico Vagnone on guitar.

A new composition titled “Bellissime Stelle” became an integral part of Bocelli’s repertoire tonight since its debut, featured in the still of the night, is sure to provide memories of this great night for years to come.

Duets with Vocalists Sarah Brightman, Heather Headley, Eliza, and Laura Pausini

On this enchanted evening, virtuosos Sarah Brightman, Heather Headley, and Laura Pausini bring their special voices to Bocelli’s world of exquisite beauty. Bocelli and Headley perform such great selections as “The Prayer” (the timeless duet originally released with Celine Dion on Bocelli’s double platinum-selling CD Sogno) and “Vivo Per Lei.”

“La Voce del Silenzio” performed with Italian pop star Eliza and the title track “Dare to Live” (”Vivere,”) performed with Laura Pausini both received standing ovations. Theirs are enviable duets that will have every potential diva thinking of a way into Bocelli’s world of great duet partners.

Bocelli performs “Canto della Terra” and “Time To Say Goodbye” (”Con te partirò”), his breakthrough hit with Sarah Brightman from the four-time platinum-selling CD Romanza. Brightman’s voice is as pure as the driven snow and just as beautiful. Paired with Bocelli’s theirs is a show stopping performance that has the audience roaring “bravo” as the concert ends.
